WINTER WEATHER SCHOOL CANCELLATION

Winter is upon us and we need to communicate our NEW GUIDELINES for school cancellation due to wintery weather conditions. JPII Schools will be independent in their decision to cancel school or to start school late because of weather conditions. JPII Administration will consult with the local weather stations, the Fargo Police, and a visual observation to determine if school will be cancelled or start late. Please check with the local television and radio stations for updates; typically the determination will be by 6:00 a.m. We will use our parent notification system to alert you by phone. Also, follow us on Twitter for the immediate notification @JP2Schools. As always, if you feel it is unsafe for your child to come to school because of your family’s logistics on a bad weather day, do not hesitate to make the decision to keep your child home, but a parent needs to notify the school.  We have students coming from many different areas.  You are best positioned to make your personal determination and we respect your judgment as concerned parents.
