The St. John Paul II Catholic Schools offer an excellent faith based education because of the generous support of our community which includes alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, business partnerships and our eight parish Catholic Community.

In addition to our annual advancement efforts which include our JPII Annual Fund that is aligned with Giving Hearts Day, our Cost of Education program that invites parents to pay more than the stated tuition up to the annual cost of educating their child, and our annual JPII Schools Dinner Auction; we are also in the midst of a very important capital campaign.  The Together! Campaign has raised more the $13 million for the following areas which are all a part of our Strategic Planning Process:

  1. Trinity School-$12 million
  2. Shanley Sullivan Addition-$4.0 million
  3. Debt from original Shanley/Sullivan construction-$3.5 million

We have an amazing opportunity present to complete this campaign because of a $5 million matching gift which was made in September 2015.  The gift is a deferred gift that we will receive for non-Together! Campaign needs as new money is generated for the Together! Campaign.  This is the largest single gift ever made to our schools and could have a $10 million impact.  This is an amazing opportunity, so please consider being a part of this watershed moment in our schools’ history!

We are also blessed with another amazing matching opportunity.  This is a $1 million match for new dollars raised for our scholarship endowment.  This match is given by the Barry Foundation and is aimed at keeping Shanley open to all students regardless of socioeconomic background.  The Barry Foundation will match 33% of any new dollar for our scholarship endowment.  To date, we have raised $1.5 million and have until 2020 to generate the remaining amount.
