New Activities Director Hired for JPII Schools

St. John Paul II Catholic Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Reggie Jackson as Activities Director.

Mr. Jackson is a veteran of the regional and national athletic scene, including officiating for 7 national
collegiate championship games (basketball and baseball) and 24 North Dakota high school state
tournaments (football, basketball, baseball). His long experience as an athletic official and coach at various
levels, his established relationships with other officials and coaches as well as high school activities directors
and NDHSAA leaders, along with his proven business leadership and organizational skills—all these prepare
him well for this new role. Moreover, he is personable and engaging with high expectations for himself and
our programs and a clear vision of the Deacon Way of excellence for our students in athletics, forensics, and
theater arts.

Mr. Jackson is married to Mrs. Joni Jackson, owner and director of Messiah Dance Theatre. They have a son,
Reggie Elijah Jackson. Mr. Jackson earned his B.S. in Health and Physical Education from MSUM in 1999 and
holds a current North Dakota K-12 teaching license.

Regarding his new role, Mr. Jackson said, “I am humbled and excited to be chosen to serve as the Activities
Director at St. JPII Catholic Schools. We are blessed with good coaches and co-curricular leaders. I look
forward to being a steward to this already elite program. I hope to continue the success of our programs in
producing leaders in the classroom, on the stage, and in the arena.”

Mr. Jackson will begin his official duties on Monday, July 19.
